Jessica awarded graduate research award

Jessica awarded fellowship

Jessica was awarded the Ellen E. Wade Graduate Studies Fellowship by the Virginia Tech Graduate School for the 2019-2020 academic year.  Only one of these is awarded every year, so this is an outstanding accomplishment!

National Biomechanics Day 2017

Leigh, Jessica, Edouard, and Dr. Madigan all visited College Station High School and spoke to 158 physics students about biomechanics. After a Powerpoint presentation about biomechanics, we had fun with balance and jumping competitions. Great work guys.

Lab presents work at regional meeting

Achu published in Journal of Biomechanics

November 2016

Achu has published a portion of his MS research in the Journal of Biomechanics. The title of the paper is "Alternative measures of toe trajectory more accurately predict the probability of tripping than minimum toe clearance". Beware of the danger zone!
